Bobby Israeli, Senior Vice President, Marketing & Sales
Bobby Israeli has spent over a decade in the Music Industry specializing in International Marketing and Artist Development. At The Island Def Jam Music Group, Bobby worked closely with artists including Mariah Carey, Lionel Richie, Bon Jovi, Jay‐Z, Kanye West & LL Cool J and managed all aspects of their International Marketing & Promotion, accompanying them on promotional trips to destinations all over the world. Bobby was responsible for arranging local television, radio and print interviews & performances, listening and album‐release events, as well as establishing and maintaining the budgets.
From Island Def Jam, Mr. Israeli joined ID Interactive Inc, running U.S. operations. Within a year, he developed and branded a new technology that allowed for the customization of audio content for delivery to mobile devices. Bobby oversaw the integration of UrToneTM with every major U.S. phone carrier for delivery to their mobile networks, gaining access to over 100 million combined subscribers. He introduced this technology to the music industry and personally negotiated contracts and managed relationships with both Universal Music Group and Warner Music Group, overseeing production of mobile commerce websites and widgets for the labels’ biggest and most successful artists. Mr. Israeli was the lead Project Manager for the production of Taylor Swift’s “Speak Now World Tour” DVD which was completed December 2011.
With a lifelong passion for finance, Mr. Israeli joined Morgan Stanley’s Park Avenue office in May 2008, partnering with a Senior VP and forming a team that managed several hundred million dollars in high net worth client accounts, working with a wide variety of clients across the sports and entertainment and real estate industries. During his first year with the firm Mr. Israeli averaged over $1M per month in capital raised. Mr. Israeli graduated the University of Maryland Scholars program and holds current Series 7, 66, 31 and New York State Insurance licenses.
